Coalesce New Years Event Update
Dear Coalesce Family,
Due to the ongoing concerns of COVID-19 and the guidelines that have been set prohibiting large gatherings, we have made the early, yet very tough, decision to hold off on this year’s Coalesce New Years gathering in the Mojave desert.
Although we would love nothing more than to see all your beautiful faces out in the desert bringing in the New Year with creativity, love, and top-notch music, we cannot in good conscience move forward with planning this year’s gathering.
This choice obviously comes with a lot of heavy feelings, but we know ultimately it’s the responsible decision to make for the safety of our community. The potential risks are not worth the reward, so we feel it's necessary to continue to do our part in the prevention of spreading the virus during this global pandemic. We’d prefer to take steps to ensure we'll all be able to Coalesce next year rather than risking your lives or the ones you love outside of our gathering. We strongly encourage you to have this same mindset.
WE'LL STILL BE CELEBRATING THOUGH!
In the midst of this pandemic, we do recognize the importance of staying connected, so we are shifting our energies towards producing an epic virtual gathering for you: Coalesce From Home NYE. We’re going to bring all of the things we love about Coalesce — music, art, performance, shenanigans, and vibes — to your screens this New Years Eve! More info, including specific dates, to come.
