Coalesce New Years Packing List

Our time to Coalesce is right around the corner. Packing for a desert gathering can be overwhelming and it’s likely you’re feeling the weight of planning for an off-grid adventure, so we’ve done you the favor of creating the ultimate list of must-haves! As you’re prepping for the last journey of the year, make sure you check our official packing list—not once, but twice—before you hit the road to Coalesce.

CLOTHING

Warm jackets and coats - faux faur, ski jackets, and other insulated outerwear

Warm pants and layers - ski pants, sweats, thick leggings

Top layers - thermal and long sleeves

Hats, beanies, earmuffs

Gloves

Extra warm socks - if your feet are warm, you will be warm

Boots or thick shoes of some kind - no sandals, vans, etc

Face mask - it'll keep your face warm too

Slides with socks - good to have at camp during the day

Scarves

Undergarments

CAMPING / SLEEPING

Tent - make sure yours has the rain cover in case of weather

Heavy duty tent stakes - don't get the skinny flimsy ones, they don't work

Sleeping bag, blankets, and pillows - it's going to be cold, so bring more than you usually do

Foam pads or air mattress + pump w/ batteries

Battery or solar powered string lights to light up your tent and camp

Headlamp, lantern or other light - don't be a darkwad!

Collapsable / folding camping chairs or inflatables

(2) tarps - one for under your tent + one to help protect from inclement weather

EZ-up or canopy of some kind + tapestries / fabric

Old rug - for your camp's living room, it adds a nice touch

Clamps or zip ties

Duct or gaff tape

Scissors

KITCHEN / FOOD

Water - 1.5 gallons per person, per day.

Reusable water bottle - no single-use plastic water bottles please!

Cooler + ice

Food and snacks

Trash bags

Table

Camp stove if you plan on making any meals + propane or butane

Reusable plates, bowls, silverware - no single-use items please!

Cutting board, knife

Cooking oil - Or butter

Salt & Pepper

Tin foil

Pot and pan

Soap + Sponge

Bucket / washbin for washing dishes

Old rags or paper towels - rags preferred because they're reusable!

TOILETRIES / SELF-CARE

SPF Sunscreen - the most important toiletry you could pack!

Baby wipes

Face wipes

Hand sanitizer - a personal bottle + one for camp

Lotion - the desert makes your skin dry

Dry shampoo - you probably wont shower while you're with us

Hair ties, bobby pin, hair clips

MISC

Extra batteries - AA and AAA

External charger - Pro-tip: label it with your name + number

Phone charger - Pro-tip: label it with a strip of gaff or duct tape on the cord + intials on cube

Ear plugs - For loud music and sleeping

Melatonin

First Aid Kit (Band-aids, moleskin, neosporin etc)

Chapstick

Advil

Bug Spray
